The Dowling Poole is a new band formed by singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Willie Dowling (ex Honeycrack) and Jon Poole (ex Cardiacs). The album is titled "Bleak Strategies" and will released on the 11th of August, along with the single "The Sun Is Mine", (the perfect radio song for summer), but it's available to pre-order now from PledgeMusic.
Worcester based vocalist Givvi Flynn is releasing her debut album through fan-funding website, PledgeMusic.com. The album is currently being recorded in Worcester with Givvi's long-standing music partners, multi instrumentalists and producers Jay Clark and Eli Cameron, from the band threads. The album also features an exclusive song written by Ginger Wildheart.
UK Powerpop band Jackdaw4 are currently working with Direct To Fan Platform PledgeMusic, to release their forthcoming (as yet unnamed) 4th studio album. Less than 24 hours after launching Jackdaw4 smashed through their original target, and currently the band have surpassed 320% with less than two weeks to go before their project comes to an end.
