Givvi Flynn releases debut album via Pledge Music

Givvi Flynn is the latest in a number of UK rock acts to release an album through fan-funding website, PledgeMusic.com.  Givvi is a Worcester based contemporary vocalist who has shared both stage and studio with numerous musical talents throughout the country, including Jackdaw4, Wolfsbane and Ginger Wildheart.

"I have been lucky enough to have been involved with several successful PledgeMusic campaigns over the last couple of years such as Ginger Wildheart, Jackdaw4 and Random Jon Poole", says Givvi Flynn.  "After being encouraged and persuaded by numerous lovely folks, I have decided that the time is right to release my debut album.  I chose PledgeMusic because it is specifically tailored for musicians, and it is the best way for independent musicians to fund, record and release their music."

Givvi Flynn's debut album will be released digitally exclusively to Pledgers only on the 31st of March. The album title is 'Theiving From The Magpie's Nest', and it features a mix of original songs and cover versions.  It is currently being recorded in Worcester with Givvi's long-standing music partners, multi instrumentalists and producers Jay Clark and Eli Cameron, from the band threads. The album also features an exclusive song written by Ginger Wildheart.

Fans of Givvi Flynn have been flocking to the PledgeMusic website to 'pledge' for the album.  There are a number of pledger options for the project such as signed CD's, handwritten lyrics, t-shirts, and even an acoustic concert in fans living rooms.  

"Every Pledge will include access to exclusive updates, such as free tracks, video updates and the gag reel video, which is already hilarious!", says Givvi Flynn.

As an additional incentive, 10% of everything raised over the target will be donated to the British Heart Foundation.

Givvi's PledgeMusic campaign started on 31st January 2013 and broke its target after just 4 days.  Givvi has since gone on to say that "the whole team is blown away by the response. I thank all the people who have pledged so far for the amazing support, and I wish you continue to tell your friends, family, kids, dogs, accountants, therapists etcetera about my new album and I will love you forever."
